Job summary

BAT is seeking a Sustainability Data Analyst to support the Global Reporting Centre of Excellence in executing the Sustainability Agenda. The role focuses on data collection, reporting, and analytics to keep Leadership teams updated on performance and compliance.

You will work on standards such as GRI, TCFD, TNFD, ISSB, and CDP, and help drive decarbonization, water saving, and waste management programs across operations. English proficiency and strong writing are essential.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in Engineering or Business; environmental focus preferred.
• At least 3 years in Environmental Sustainability Mgmt, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of Environmental Sustainability Reporting Standards.
• Experience with Life Cycle Analysis tools and standards.
• Proficient in English with excellent writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with workstream leads to ensure OTIF data collection and quality, interfacing with BAT and 3rd parties.
• Develop and maintain methodologies for environmental indicators per international standards (GRI, TCFD, TNFD, ISSB, GHG, CDP).
• Administer, maintain and update the environmental reporting system.
• Collaborate with UL to ensure functionality and upgrades of the reporting system.
• Educate Sustainability/EHS teams on reporting methodologies and platform usage.
• Drive development of new functionality in the environmental reporting platform.
• Support Global Sustainability digitalization projects in cross-functional teams.
• Prepare analytical reports and datasets to drive decarbonization and waste management programs.
