Role Introduction
You’ll own ESG and climate reporting for clients, from GHG accounting and materiality assessments to platform onboarding, training, and account management, acting as the primary point of contact for client success. Requirements
- Own the preparation and quality of ESG and sustainability reports aligned with global and jurisdictional frameworks, including GRI, IFRS S1/S2, TCFD, CSRD/ESRS, and others, with a primary focus on the environmental and social dimensions of ESG.
- Lead GHG accounting and emissions calculations (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and climate analysis in line with globally recognized standards, ensuring accurate, verifiable data to inform client climate and sustainability strategies.
- Availability and flexibility for local and international travel for client delivery and business development activities.
- Lead platform demos and walkthroughs for existing clients and deliver compelling product demonstrations on sales calls and in prospect meetings to support business development.
- Design and deliver client training and capacity-building sessions, ensuring clients adopt the platform confidently and realize its full value.
- Own client relationships and account management through strong stakeholder engagement, expectation management, and proactive value creation.
- Drive and generate client success through consistent, high-quality delivery, measurable outcomes, and renewal- and growth-oriented account management.
- Define, measure, and report client success and commercial metrics, including turnaround time (TaT), billable vs. non-billable utilization, EBITDA contribution, NPS, and CSAT, and act on the insights to improve performance.
- Lead platform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for client-facing features, validating functionality against requirements and signing off on readiness.
- Translate recurring client needs and the evolving ESG, sustainability, and Net Zero reporting landscape into structured product requirements and enhancement requests, partnering with the Product team to influence the roadmap.
- Liaise with internal Product and Data teams, who own platform governance and data processing, to align deliverables, scope, and timelines.
- Support clients in improving climate finance readiness by strengthening governance processes, donor-required documentation, and policies, while identifying relevant climate finance opportunities.
Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Energy Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Sustainability (or a related field).
- Proven experience with sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks/standards, including GRI, IFRS S1/S2, TCFD, and CSRD/ESRS.
- Demonstrated experience delivering software demos, client training, and capacity-building sessions in a SaaS, product-led environment.
- Experience owning account management and end-to-end project delivery, including managing client success metrics such as TaT, NPS, CSAT, and utilization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to ESG and emissions data.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills, particularly in client-facing environments.
- Experience with ESG or climate data platforms is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for senior client-facing roles.
