Job summary

The British American Tobacco Group is seeking a Sustainability Data Analyst to support the Global Reporting Centre of Excellence with data collection, analysis, and reporting across sustainability programs. The role emphasizes compliance with international standards and data integrity, including training teams on reporting methodologies.

You will engage with cross-functional leads, maintain the reporting system, and contribute to decarbonization and waste management programs while driving

Qualifications

• MSc/BSc in Engineering or Business (Environmental preferred).
• At least 3 years in Environmental Sustainability Mgmt., preferably in FMCG.
• Knowledge of environmental reporting standards.
• Proficiency with Life Cycle Analysis tools.
• Fluent English and strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with workstream leads to ensure OTIF data quality and integrity.
• Develop methodologies for environmental indicators per GRI/TCFD/TNFD/ISSB/GHG/CDP standards.
• Administer and update the environmental reporting system.
• Collaborate with UL for system upgrades in environmental reporting.
• Educate Sustainability/EHS across the Group on reporting methodologies and the use of the reporting platform.
• Develop new functionality for the environmental reporting platform to support business needs.
• Support Global Sustainability digitalization projects within cross-functional teams.
• Prepare analytical reports and data sets for decarbonization, water saving, and waste management programs.
