The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Tissue Craft has the right materials, in the right quantity, at the right time, while maintaining clear visibility over purchasing, inventory, production requirements, suppliers, and dispatch priorities.
The role will act as the coordination point between Sales, Warehouse, Production, Procurement/Suppliers and Management.

Role Purpose
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Tissue Craft has the right materials, in the right quantity, at the right time, while maintaining clear visibility over purchasing, inventory, production requirements, suppliers, and dispatch priorities.
The role will act as the coordination point between Sales, Warehouse, Production, Procurement/Suppliers and Management.
- Prepare and maintain the daily and weekly material requirement plan.
- Coordinate production requirements based on confirmed customer orders and stock availability.
- Ensure raw material, packaging material and other production inputs are available before scheduled production.
- Raise, maintain and follow up purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding prices, lead times, deliveries and shortages.
- Maintain a clear tracker of all open POs and delayed supplies.
- Identify material shortages in advance and elevate them before they affect production.
- Maintain visibility over raw material, packaging material and finished-goods inventory.
- Coordinate with the warehouse regarding receiving, issuing, stock movement and critical stock levels.
- Maintain minimum/reorder levels for important materials.
- Identify slow-moving, excess and dead inventory.
- Coordinate urgent purchasing requirements with management.
- Support supplier negotiations and identify alternative suppliers where required.
- Maintain supplier performance records including price, quality, lead time and reliability.
- Coordinate dispatch priorities with Sales, Production and Warehouse.
- Monitor pending customer orders and ensure material-related delays are highlighted early.
- Maintain proper documentation and ERP/Excel records for purchases, stock and material planning.
- Support implementation and improvement of supply-chain SOPs.
- Prepare regular management reports on:
- material shortages,
- open purchase orders,
- delayed supplies,
- critical stock,
- inventory position,
- upcoming production requirements.
Daily Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Manager should be able to answer every day:
What needs to be produced?What materials are required?What is currently available?What is short?What has already been ordered?When will it arrive?Which customer/order is at risk?
Key Performance Expectations
Success in the role will be measured mainly by:
- reduction in production stoppages caused by material shortages;
- timely availability of material for planned production;
- visibility and follow-up of open purchase orders;
- better supplier coordination;
- improved inventory control;
- fewer emergency purchases;
- timely identification of shortages and delays;
- accurate and timely supply-chain reporting.
Skills & Experience
Preferred candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or a related field;
- 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred;
- strong Excel and ERP skills;
- good communication and supplier-management ability;
- ability to work independently and follow up aggressively;
- good numerical and analytical skills;
- strong organizational ability;
- ability to coordinate between multiple departments.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, paper/tissue, packaging or industrial purchasing will be preferred
