Role Description

The Student Counselor role at IBS Overseas Education is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. The Student Counselor will guide prospective students through the entire process of studying abroad, including understanding educational options, admission requirements, and suitable career pathways. Daily tasks include conducting counseling sessions, assessing student profiles, advising on course and university selection, and explaining application, visa, and financial requirements. The role also involves responding to inquiries, maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with partner institutions, and providing ongoing support and follow-up to ensure a positive experience. The Student Counselor is expected to collaborate with team members, participate in events and information sessions, and uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism.

• Skills in Career Counseling to help students align academic choices with long-term professional goals.
• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with students, families, and institutions.
• Customer Service abilities to manage inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain a supportive, student-centered approach.
• Relevant experience in academic advising, international education, or a related field is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline is advantageous.
• Familiarity with international admissions processes, visa requirements, and overseas education systems is beneficial.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.

Salary range: 35k PKR - 150k PKR

Location: Lahore Office, Pakistan
