Job summary

Bestway Cement Limited seeks a Civil Engineer to oversee all civil work related to solarfield operations, including leveling, compaction, room construction, and designing structures for PV systems. The role requires developing standardized structure packages for rooftops, carports, and ground mounts, while ensuring safety and cost efficiency.

The candidate will design single and dual-axis tracking structures, perform structural analyses, generate BOMs, and verify designs with suppliers.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Civil Engineering from HEC recognized University.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized structure packages for PV installations (rooftops, sheds, carports, ground mounts) to optimize installation efficiency and cost.
• Design structures to withstand wind loads and capacities, ensuring safety and integrity.
• Optimize structure designs for cost-effectiveness without compromising safety and quality.
• Develop designs for single and dual-axis tracking systems to maximize solar panel efficiency.
• Conduct structural analysis, generate BOMs, and vet proposed structures with suppliers for feasibility and compliance.
• Perform on-site structural inspections, verify materials, and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Manage project profitability, maintain client relationships, and meet deadlines by collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
• Conduct on-site inspections to gather data on as-built conditions, ensuring conformity with design plans and standards.

Job Description

• Develop standardizedstructure packages for various PV module installations such as rooftops,PEB sheds, carports, shells, ground mounts etc. to optimize installationefficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Design structures towithstand various wind speeds and capacities, ensuring structuralintegrity and safety.
• Responsible foroptimizing structure designs to achieve cost-effective solutions withoutcompromising quality and safety.
• Develop designs for bothsingle and dual-axis tracking systems to maximize solar panel efficiency.
• Conduct structuralanalysis, generate Bills of Materials (BOM), and vet proposed structureswith suppliers to ensure feasibility and compliance.
• Perform on-sitestructural inspections, verify materials, and ensure adherence to designspecifications and quality standards.
• Manage projectprofitability, maintain client relationships, and ensure deadlines are metby collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external teams.

Experience and Qualification

• B.Sc. Civil Engineering from HEC recognized University.
• 02 to 04 years of relevant experience preferably in managing large scale Solar projects.
