Job summary

JazzCash seeks a Stream Head - Cards & Online Payments to own card issuance and online payment gateway products, shaping the end-to-end experience for merchants and customers.

The role requires deep knowledge of digital payments, card ecosystems and merchant acquiring, with collaboration across Technology, Risk, Compliance and Marketing.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Product Management within fintech, banking, payments or digital commerce.
• Experience owning payment products such as card issuance, payment gateways, merchant acquiring or digital payments.
• Strong understanding of card ecosystems, online payments, merchant acquiring and payment processing.
• Experience defining product strategy and delivering customer-centric digital products.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Cards Issuance and Online Payment Gateway products.
• Identify customer and merchant pain points through research, analytics and market insights.
• Translate opportunities into clear product strategies, prioritized roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and design through launch and continuous optimization.
• Balance customer needs, business goals and technical feasibility to make informed product decisions.
• Collaborate with card schemes, processors and ecosystem partners to launch new capabilities and products.
• Drive merchant acquisition, payment success rates and transaction growth.
• Improve merchant onboarding, integrations, settlement experiences and reporting capabilities.
• Partner with partnerships and merchant teams to identify new payment capabilities and value-added services.
• Work closely with technology to improve platform reliability, scalability, APIs and developer experience.
• Identify opportunities to introduce innovative payment methods, tokenization, recurring payments, payment links and checkout optimization.
• Prioritize product backlogs based on customer value and business impact.
• Define success metrics and monitor product performance using analytics and customer feedback.
• Drive experimentation and data-informed decision making through A/B testing and rapid iteration.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance and Fraud teams to ensure secure and compliant payment experiences.

What is a Stream Head - Cards & Online Payments?

We are looking for a Stream Head - Cards & Online Payments to own and evolve our card issuance and online merchant payments products. You will be responsible for building seamless card experiences while growing our online payment gateway into a best-in-class platform for merchants and customers.

This role requires someone who combines strong product thinking with a deep understanding of digital payments, card ecosystems, merchant acquiring, payment gateways and customer journeys. You will work closely with Technology, Design, Risk, Operations, Compliance, Marketing and external ecosystem partners to deliver products that create value for both consumers and businesses.

What does a Stream Head - Cards & Online Payments?

• Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Cards Issuance and Online Payment Gateway products.

• Own the complete card lifecycle including digital onboarding, card ordering, issuance, activation, PIN management, controls, replacement, renewal and lifecycle management.


• Drive adoption and engagement across physical, virtual and tokenized cards.


• Continuously improve customer experience to increase activation, usage and retention.


• Collaborate with card schemes, processors and ecosystem partners to launch new capabilities and products.

Online Payment Gateway

• Own the online payment gateway product, delivering secure, reliable and scalable payment experiences for merchants and consumers.


• Drive merchant acquisition, payment success rates and transaction growth.


• Improve merchant onboarding, integrations, settlement experiences and reporting capabilities.


• Partner with partnerships and merchant teams to identify new payment capabilities and value-added services.
