Job summary

Karandaaz Pakistan is seeking a seasoned technology professional to lead digital payments initiatives and large-scale technology implementations. The role focuses on technical leadership, risk management, and collaboration among regulators, financial institutions, vendors and internal teams to deliver strategic digital transformation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, IT or related field; Master's is advantageous.
• 8–10 years of experience in digital payments, fintech, or banking tech, including large-scale programs.
• Experience delivering complex technology implementations with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Experience with payment systems, digital banking platforms, or enterprise integration is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across project lifecycles for digital transformation programmes.
• Review designs, architectures, and vendor implementation approaches; advise on technology choices.
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies; propose practical solutions.
• Develop and enforce technology standards and design principles for programmes.
• Coordinate across vendors, consultants and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
