Weatherford in Islamabad invites a Sourcing Lead to develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management across assigned spend areas, delivering cost savings and supplier performance improvements while aligning with governance, quality, and sustainability.

You will lead end-to-end RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate terms, manage supplier onboarding and risk, and mentor the procurement team in a fast-paced multinational environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supplier management.
• Proven success in delivering measurable cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
• Experience in multinational organizations and diverse markets preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing methodologies, category management, and contract execution.
• Proven experience leading complex negotiations, tender processes, supplier performance reviews, and contract management activities.
• Experience managing sourcing KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and pipelines.
• Certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma are an advantage.
• Previous experience mentoring or developing team members.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and update spend, costs and category sourcing strategies based on business requirements and market intelligence.
• Analyze spend, supplier markets, and categories spend trends to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Establish and execute sourcing roadmaps and project pipelines aligned with cost, quality, delivery, sustainability, and risk management objectives.
• Conduct make-or-buy assessments and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Lead end-to-end local RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes, including supplier evaluation and award recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment conditions, SLAs, and contract terms to achieve best-value outcomes.
• Support supplier onboarding, qualification, compliance, performance improvement, and issue Resolution.
• Develop supply continuity and risk mitigation strategies, including dual sourcing where appropriate.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to improve performance.
• Monitor supplier KPIs and lead corrective actions and supplier development initiatives.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with critical suppliers and participate in supplier audits, HSE assessments, quality reviews, and inspections.
• Collaborate with Legal to negotiate, establish, administer, and renew contracts and MSAs.
• Maintain accurate sourcing records, contract documentation, renewal schedules, and category contract repositories.
• Partner with Operations, Finance and other functions to align sourcing priorities.
• Deliver annual cost-saving targets through strategic sourcing and process improvements.
• Track and report sourcing performance and savings realization.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and spend planning with proper validation of cost reductions.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with policies, regulations, and audit requirements.
• Drive standardization and automation across sourcing processes and transaction methods.
• Lead, coach, and mentor procurement team members.
