Job summary

UNDP Pakistan’s Rule of Law Programme is seeking an Operations & Finance Analyst to provide financial planning, budgeting and operational support. The role focuses on coordinating finance, procurement, contracting and administrative processes to ensure timely, compliant programme delivery.

You will prepare financial forecasts, monitor budgets, and support donor reporting while maintaining audit-ready records and promoting value for money in a dynamic development context.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification from an internationally accredited institute is required.
• Advanced (Master’s) degree in Finance and/or Accounting is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with additional two years of qualifying experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree.
• Two years (with Master) or four years (with Bachelor) of relevant experience in financial management is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management, operational coordination and administrative support for the Rule of Law Programme.
• Support budget preparation, revisions and financial forecasting.
• Monitor expenditures, commitments and variances; produce financial analyses and reports.
• Ensure compliance with UNDP financial rules and donor requirements; support audits and internal controls.
• Coordinate finance, procurement, contracting, HR and travel to support timely programme delivery.
