Job summary

Legal Aid Society in Karachi seeks a senior Grant Writer to grow the institutional funding pipeline, owning concept notes, proposals, budgets and donor materials, and coordinating with CEO and program teams. You will translate outcomes into compelling funding narratives, manage donor relationships, and provide funding intelligence to inform strategic growth and sustainability.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field.
5–8 years of institutional fundraising or grant management experience.
Proven track record securing/ managing EU, FCDO, UN, US government or bilateral donor awards.
Experience leading full proposal development (concept notes, LFAs, budgets) and donor negotiations.
Experience in Pakistan's donor and development landscape.

Responsibilities

Lead development of concept notes, full proposals, LFAs and budgets for institutional funding opportunities.
Coordinate with Program, M&E, Finance, and Communications teams to develop evidence-based submissions.
Lead donor-facing impact narratives, program briefs, and fundraising materials.
Support CEO with funding intelligence for growth strategy and donor engagement.
