Job summary

Dosti Welfare Organization in Pakistan seeks a Proposal Writer (Grants & Donor Proposals) to develop donor-focused proposals, concept notes, and grant applications aligned with its programs and strategic priorities.

You will identify funding opportunities, draft and review proposals, coordinate with program, finance, and M&E teams, ensure donor compliance, and prepare logical frameworks and narratives. Strong English skills and deadline discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, English, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in proposal writing for NGOs/INGOs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with donor requirements (UN agencies, EU, USAID, foundations) and grant formats.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research funding opportunities from donors, INGOs, UN agencies, and foundations
• Draft, review, and finalize project proposals, concept notes, and grant applications
• Coordinate with Program, Finance, and M&E teams to collect technical and budgetary inputs
• Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, formats, and submission deadlines
• Prepare logical frameworks, work plans, and narratives in coordination with relevant departments
• Maintain records of submitted proposals and donor communications
• Support donor reporting and follow-up communication when required
