Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti in Karachi is seeking a Senior Manager FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, delivering strategic insights to senior leadership and guiding key business decisions.

The role oversees a team of FP&A professionals, partners with sales and operations on plans, analyzes performance, and presents financial reports to the GM and Finance leadership, ensuring timely monthly deliverables and adherence to corporate policies.

Qualifications

• CA, ACCA or MBA Finance required.
• 8+ years in FP&A with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Annual Plan and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Perform variance analysis comparing actuals to forecasts and explain discrepancies.
• Assess financial implications of commercial initiatives such as NPIs, pricing, and volume/channel mix adjustments.
• Support regional/global project submissions and collaborate with leadership.
• Conduct scenario planning and prep for market conditions and uncertainties.
• Coordinate with sales and operations to align financial plans with company strategy.
• Prepare and present financial reports to GM, FD, and senior leadership, ensuring timely monthly deliverables.
