Qualifications

• Experience in financial controls and process design.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo).
• Strong budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Ability to lead accounting/finance teams.
• Experience ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide cross-functional financial insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize financial systems and workflows for accounts payable/receivable, payments, and collections.
• Prepare financial reports (P&L, budgets, forecasts, MIS), analyze performance, identify trends, and assess risks.
• Lead budgeting and monitor allocations.
• Supervise accounting/finance teams, train non-finance staff, and ensure compliance.
• Provide financial insights to support business goals, often working cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and other departments.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations.
• Oversee the accounting department and ensure that the financial records are accurate.
• Manage relationships with banks, insurance and other financial institutions to access capital.
• Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including sales, marketing and operations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management.
