About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant / Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting for our growing portfolio of clients based in the United States. This is a hands‑on role that combines technical accounting expertise with strong leadership and client‑facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting operations, management reporting, and cost tracking
Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Develop monthly dashboards and client‑facing reports
Design and implement internal controls and accounting policies
Manage accounting entries, payroll processing, and reconciliations
Identify and rectify accounting errors; reconcile ledger and bank balances
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Finalize accounts for annual tax return preparation
Ensure accuracy across accounting systems and software modules
Manage AP, AR, and inventory accounting; investigate and resolve discrepancies
Prepare for and support external audits
Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
Conduct weekly client meetings
Support ad hoc assignments as needed by management
Qualifications
CA or CPA preferred; ACCA
10+ years of accounting or financial management experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
Experience with Power BI and Tableau
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated client service orientation
