Job summary

Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (KANUPP) invites highly qualified Senior Technician candidates (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control) for a contingent 80–110 day shutdown maintenance campaign in Karachi. Selected personnel will be paid a fixed consolidated wage of PKR 82,268 per month and will work under supervision of senior maintenance engineers.

Qualifications

• B.Tech (Pass) in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation & Control Technology with Nil experience.
• DAE (1st Division) in relevant technology from a Govt Polytechnic Institute with 04 years industrial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, overhauling, testing, and recalibration of heavy electrical switchgear, high-voltage transformers, actuators, and VFDs.
• Maintenance of process transmitters and distributed control instrumentation loops in safety-critical environments.

Job description

A leading public sector organization operating in high-technology power generation invites highly competent, dedicated, and qualified professionals for immediate engagement as Senior Technician (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control) on a contingent basis for an intensive 80 to 110 days plant shutdown turnaround maintenance campaign at Karachi. Selected technical personnel will receive attractive fixed consolidated wages of PKR 82,268 per month and operate under the direct oversight of senior plant maintenance engineers. The operational mandate encompasses comprehensive servicing, overhauling, testing, and recalibration of heavy electrical switchgear, high-voltage transformers, motorized valve actuators, variable frequency drives, process transmitters, and distributed control instrumentation loops. Candidates must demonstrate deep familiarity with industrial safety standards, high-voltage lockout/tagout protocols, and precision electrical measurements in safety-critical operational environments. Selection is executed through rigorous walk-in interviews scheduled across Chashma (21 October 2026), Multan (26 October 2026), and Karachi (02 November 2026), followed by document scrutiny, technical competence verification, and pre-engagement medical clearance.
