Job summary

Oxiliry is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to manage end-to-end international logistics, focusing on U.S. import shipments.

You will coordinate ocean freight, drayage, road freight, and customs documentation while aligning with overseas vendors and carriers to ensure timely, cost-effective movement of goods. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and adept at communicating across time zones with freight forwarders, brokers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination.
• Experience managing international shipments, preferably U.S. imports.
• Strong knowledge of freight terms, customs procedures, and international shipping documentation.
• Experience coordinating with overseas vendors, freight partners, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations for U.S. import shipments.
• Manage ocean freight, drayage, FTL and LTL road freight, and customs clearance.
• Track shipments proactively and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and international vendors.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and transit-related issues.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and HS codes.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and operations teams to align delivery timelines.
• Review freight costs and recommend cost-optimization opportunities.
• Prepare shipment status updates and logistics performance reports.
• Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to logistics processes.
• Remain available for coordination across different time zones when required.
