Job summary

AIO App Inc is seeking a dedicated Software QA Engineer to join our team. You will assist with automated and manual test case creation and execution for our software applications, collaborating closely with development and product teams to ensure quality.

The role involves hands-on testing across UI, API, and integration areas, using Postman for API tests and contributing to SDLC quality improvements. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of work experience as a Software QA Engineer in the software development industry.
• Proficient in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with a variety of testing techniques including UI, automated, regression, performance, functional, DB (SQL), and integration testing.
• Knowledge of Postman for REST API testing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and implementation of test plans and test cases.
• Perform hands-on manual and automated testing.

• Report and track defects and work with developers to resolve issues.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Software QA Engineer to join our team. Your primary role will be to assist with the creation and execution of automated and manual test cases for our software applications. You will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the quality of our software products.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Participate in the design and implementation of test plans and test cases, ensuring they are comprehensive and effective.
• Perform hands-on manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate with the development team during all phases of the software development lifecycle to identify any potential quality issues and suggest solutions.
• Use Postman for HTTP REST API testing.
• Report and track defects discovered during testing, and work closely with developers to rectify these issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing development teams with enough details to understand, replicate and resolve the defect.
• Provide input into improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing processes and activities.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and review meetings.
