Job description

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and testing standards
• Assistin developing andmaintainingtest automation frameworks (if applicable)
• Analyze test results and provide insights to improve product quality
• Develop,maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Qualifications & experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ yearsof experience in software testing, preferably in a senior role
• Strong understanding ofSDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience withtest case management and defect tracking tools(e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
• Proficiencyinmanual testingtechniques, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Experience withSQLfor database validation and API testing using tools likePostman
• Familiarity withautomation testing(Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with performance testing tools likeJMeter
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
