Job summary
Mashreq Careers is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for Retail Banking Group to design and review scalable architectures that align business needs with technology strategy. You will drive API and microservices adoption, guide developers, and ensure security and non-functional requirements are embedded in every design.
This role requires 15+ years in application development with 5+ years in architecture, strong banking technology knowledge, and ability to lead in both agile and waterfall
Qualifications
- 15+ years of application development experience, including 5+ years in Solution Architecture.
- Strong banking technology knowledge with 5+ years in solutioning banking apps.
- Experience balancing agile and waterfall in retail digital squads and SOR systems.
- Expertise in blueprint, high-level and low-level designs.
- Knowledge of performance testing, optimization, and security standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive identification and design of solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Ensure architectural governance and EA standards across lifecycle.
- Review and support engineering teams for robust, scalable products.
- Lead API and microservices adoption across retail banking systems.
- Promote reusability and extensibility across platforms for faster delivery.
- Oversee modernization initiatives to meet retail banking needs.
- Guide security architecture and non-functional requirements in designs.
- Collaborate with agile delivery models to ensure timely solution delivery.
- Maintain a retail technology radar and contribute to EA roadmaps.
