Job summary

Mashreq's Retail Banking Group seeks a senior Solution Architect to design and review optimal solution approaches that align business requirements with the enterprise technology strategy. The role encompasses guiding development teams, implementing API and microservices strategies, ensuring performance, security, and compliance across platforms, and contributing to roadmaps for scalable retail solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in application development including 5+ years in Solution Architecture.
• 5+ years designing banking applications.
• Experience with microservices, API gateways, and cloud stacks.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in agile and waterfall environments.
• TOGAF certification preferred.
• Experience with security standards (OAuth2, TLS, GDPR) and enterprise security.

Responsibilities

• Drive identification and design of solutions meeting evolving business needs.
• Ensure architectural governance across the lifecycle.
• Review and support engineering teams for scalable platforms.
• Promote APIs and microservices across retail banking systems.
• Guide security architecture and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with agile and waterfall delivery models.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture roadmaps from a retail perspective.
