Job summary

Hul Hub Co is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to lead AI-augmented testing and critical analysis across the product lifecycle. You will analyze requirements, design robust test strategies, and validate REST APIs, databases, and performance metrics using AI-assisted techniques.

The role emphasizes ownership of quality, clear defect reporting, and continuous improvement in testing practices within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field required.
• 2–4 years of software testing experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing and development tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Software Quality Engineer (AI-Augmented Testing & Critical Analysis)

Job Description:

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, ambiguities, contradictions, and potential risks.
• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, integration, end-to-end, API, and edge-case testing.
• Use AI for test scenarios, test data, scripts, log summaries, and root-cause analysis, while catching hallucinations and weak output.
• Test REST APIs, validate request/response contracts, verify authorization and error handling, and use SQL to ensure data integrity.
• Perform load and performance testing using JMeter and Locust.
• Validate fixes, assess regression risks, and continuously improve testing strategies and quality standards.
• Document defects clearly, communicate technical risks, and take ownership of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of relevant software testing experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing and development tools is highly desirable.

Job Specifications:

• Strong analytical reasoning, critical thinking, risk-based testing, and boundary value analysis.
• Understanding of functional, exploratory, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of defect investigation, debugging, root-cause analysis, and test automation fundamentals.
