• Minimum 2 years of hands-on testing experience in US healthcare PMS - mandatory.
• Candidates with general software testing experience but without the required 2 years of US Healthcare PMS testing experience will not be considered.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.

Medcare MSO is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who is responsible for ensuring the quality of MedCare's Practice Management System (PMS) software throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role reviews requirements and design documents, prepares test plans and cases, executes functional, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing, and tracks defects through to resolution.

The role applies strong US healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) domain knowledge and uses approved AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to generate test scenarios, improve coverage, analyze defects, and accelerate test automation, while validating all AI-generated output before it enters the QA process.

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of US healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), medical billing, insurance workflows, and claims processing
• Proficiency in SQL for database validation and API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Practical knowledge of AI tools, particularly Claude and ChatGPT, for software testing and quality assurance
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, EDI 837/835, ERA, and insurance eligibility transactions (preferred)
• Experience developing or maintaining automated test scripts using AI-assisted tools (preferred)

Education & Relevant Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on testing experience in US healthcare Practice Management Systems (PMS) - mandatory.
