Job summary

System Heuristics is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to ensure quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. You will design, execute, and maintain test cases for web and mobile applications, report defects, and collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities include regression, integration, functional, and UI testing, participating in requirement reviews, and ensuring adherence to QA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience with manual testing and basic knowledge of automated testing tools.
• Proficiency in bug tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Basic familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
