Job summary

Clustox is seeking a Mid-Level QA Engineer to balance strong manual testing fundamentals with hands-on test automation expertise. The candidate will leverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.

You will design and execute functional, regression, API, and exploratory tests while building automated UI/API suites and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. You're expected to have 3–5 years of QA experience (manual and automation), solid SDLC/STLC knowledge, programming skills in

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of QA experience (manual and automation) required.
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• AI-curious mindset and willingness to experiment with AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Design and execute functional, regression, API, and exploratory tests
• Build and maintain UI/API automation suites (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform API validation and basic database verification (SQL)
• Collaborate closely with developers in Agile sprints
• Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, test-generation tools) to:
  • Generate smarter test cases
  • Improve automation scripts
  • Speed up debugging and root-cause analysis
  • Enhance test documentation

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of QA experience (Manual + Automation)
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC
• Programming knowledge (Java, JS, or Python)
• Experience with Git and CI/CD
• API testing experience (Postman/RestAssured)
• AI-curious mindset — comfortable experimenting with AI-assisted workflows
