Job summary

READ Foundation is seeking a Site Supervisor (Grade 07) to oversee school building projects in Islamabad. The role requires ensuring safety, quality, and timely progress while coordinating civil and MEP labor on site.

The candidate should hold a DAE (Civil) or B.Tech (Civil) with relevant experience, and possess strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills. Local candidates preferred; bike and driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of building construction and drawings.
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, machinery, and labour management.
• Knowledge of field testing for building projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic MS Office proficiency and report writing.
• Photography skills for site progress records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities of school building projects.
• Supervise and coordinate site workforce, including civil and MEP labor, skilled and unskilled workers.
• Monitor work quality, progress, timelines, and safety standards.
• Prepare daily and monthly progress reports with site photographs and milestone updates.
• Inspect material deliveries, quality, and storage.
• Maintain site records, including attendance sheets, stock registers, material usage logs, and inspection reports.
• Prepare and submit expense statements and bills for approval.
• Coordinate with the Construction Project Officer to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution.
