Moniepoint Inc. is seeking an experienced SRE to engineer the reliability of our distributed platform.

You will define SLOs, lead incident response, and build automation and self-healing mechanisms to scale with hyper-growth. You will write production-grade code (Java/Go/Python) and partner with product engineering to ensure reliability, scalability, and observability from day one, including load testing and chaos experiments.

Formación

• 4+ years in SRE or backend engineering with strong coding in Java, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Distributed systems, microservices, and scalable architecture experience.
• GCP or AWS/Azure and Kubernetes (GKE/EKS) proficiency.
• Observability toolchain: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in on-call rotations; act as Incident Commander during major incidents.
• Instrument code to expose metrics and traces; define SLOs and error budgets.
• Write production-ready code for internal tooling and self-healing systems.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to ensure reliable, scalable services from day one.
• Analyze performance and run load tests and chaos engineering experiments.
