Moniepoint Group is seeking an experienced SRE to engineer the reliability of a highly distributed platform. You will define SLOs, lead incident response, and build automation and self-healing mechanisms to ensure scalable services as we grow rapidly.

You will write production-ready code (Java/Go/Python), implement observability, and collaborate with product engineering to embed reliability patterns from day one. On-call rotations and rigorous testing are required.

Formación

• 4+ years in SRE or backend engineering with clean, tested code.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP/AWS/Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Observability experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar tools.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in on-call rotations and act as Incident Commander during major incidents.
• Instrument code to expose metrics and traces; define and defend SLOs and error budgets with product owners.
• Write production-ready code in Java, Go, or Python to build internal tooling and self-healing mechanisms.
• Partner with Product Engineering to ensure reliability patterns are used in new services from day one.
• Analyze performance and traffic; conduct load testing and chaos engineering experiments.
