Job summary

Trillium Information Security Systems (TISS) in Rawalpindi is recruiting for a Cybersecurity Support Trainee through Elevate by TISS. This entry role suits fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience and a strong interest in SIEM, threat monitoring, and cybersecurity operations.

You will help deploy IBM QRadar and Wazuh, troubleshoot issues, onboard log sources, and support day-to-day SIEM activities in a growing security team.

Qualifications

• Basic cybersecurity concepts.
• Knowledge of SIEM fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with Windows Event Logs and Syslog.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH).
• Understanding of firewalls and network security concepts.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn new cybersecurity technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IBM QRadar and Wazuh SIEM platforms for security events and alerts.
• Perform health checks of SIEM infrastructure and report issues.
• Assist in onboarding and configuring log sources (Windows, Linux, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, network devices).
• Monitor log collection and troubleshoot missing or delayed logs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve SIEM-related issues.
