Aqsa Shahzad is looking for an SEO specialist to own Shopify SEO across multiple US stores and the studio’s site, focusing on collections, faceted navigation, and migrations that preserve rankings. You will perform technical audits (crawl/index/canonical/structured data), implement fixes, craft content briefs, and coordinate with engineers and writers to translate insights into actionable tickets.

You own organic search for client stores and for the studio’s own site: technical audits, migrations that keep rankings, content briefs that answer real queries, structured data and internal linking. Results are measured in Search Console, not in reports about reports.
Shopify SEO is a specific discipline — collection and product architecture, faceted navigation, duplicate variants, theme-level performance, migrations with redirect maps — and this role owns it across several US stores plus the studio’s own site, which ranks for competitive agency terms and is part of how the studio wins work.
You will work alongside the GEO specialist (AI search) and the engineers who implement your recommendations; you are expected to read a theme well enough to know what is feasible and to write briefs a writer can execute without you.
What you will do: Technical audits and fixes — Crawl, index, canonical, structured data, Core Web Vitals; findings written as tickets the engineers can act on. Migrations that keep rankings — URL mapping, redirect testing, launch-day monitoring on every replatform the studio ships. Keyword research and content briefs — Query mapping to collections, products and guides; briefs with intent, structure, entities and internal links. Internal linking and architecture — Collection hierarchies, hub-and-spoke content, breadcrumbs and navigation that concentrate authority where it sells. Structured data — Product, Organization, FAQ, Article and JobPosting schema that validates and earns rich results. Reporting from the source — Search Console and GA4, monthly, in writing, with the next month’s plan attached.
What you bring: Two or more years of hands-on SEO — Ecommerce preferred; you can show rankings you moved and explain what did it. Technical depth — Crawlers (Screaming Frog or similar), log files, robots and sitemaps, canonicalisation, JavaScript rendering issues. Shopify specifics — Or a demonstrable ability to learn them in a month: collections, tags, variants, theme performance, app bloat. Writing and briefing — You write clearly enough that a writer or an engineer can act without a meeting. Measurement discipline — Search Console, GA4, rank tracking; you know the difference between a ranking and a result.
Nice to have: Python or Sheets automation, digital PR or link acquisition experience, Rank Math or Yoast at scale, an understanding of AI search citations.
