Job summary

Stewart Pakistan Private Limited is seeking an experienced Windows/VMware Administrator based in Lahore. The role focuses on maintaining Windows servers and VMware environments, with strong emphasis on patching, security, and incident response.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Ubuntu Linux administration and collaborate with IT, development, and security teams to ensure seamless operations and compliance. On-call support is required.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of proven experience in Windows and VMware systems administration.
• Strong experience in managing VMware virtualization environments.
• Experience in security patching vulnerability management processes.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures.
• Experience with Ubuntu Linux administration and Linux networking.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with incident management and SLA-based resolutions.
• Automating routine tasks with PowerShell/PowerCLI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows and VMware environments, ensure uptime and SLA adherence.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot system failures, and document resolutions.
• Participate in 7x24 on-call rotations and 24/7 escalation processes.
• Collaborate with IT, development, and security teams for integrated solutions.
• Perform patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
• Maintain UCS, ESXi, vCenter, and related virtualization components.
• Provide training opportunities and knowledge sharing within the team.
