Job summary

Ibtdara is seeking a Senior Accounts & Finance Executive to oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The role emphasizes VAT, tax reconciliation, AP/AR management, payroll, and cash-flow oversight.

The candidate will ensure accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, and support budgeting and forecasting. Strong English communication and independent work ethic are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting and finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong VAT, taxation, and tax reconciliation knowledge.
• Experience with AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations and cash-flow management.
• Experience managing end-to-end accounting and financial operations.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Handle VAT calculations, VAT records, and tax reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Oversee payroll processing and employee payments.
• Monitor cash flow, payments, and cash requirements.
• Prepare invoices, financial statements, and management summaries.
• Handle tax filings, compliance, and documentation.
• Monitor transactions and ensure proper recording.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Coordinate with auditors and maintain financial controls.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial reporting.
