FORTEK Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an HVAC Specialist Technician – Data Centers to lead on-site HVAC execution for data centers and critical IT facilities.

The HVAC Specialist Technician – Data Centers is responsible for leading on-site HVAC execution, advanced troubleshooting, and SLA delivery for data centers, IT facilities, and mission-critical infrastructure projects. This role requires strong hands‑on expertise, the ability to work independently, and the capability to guide junior technicians while ensuring system reliability, compliance, and uptime.
The position plays a key role in precision cooling, redundancy systems, and 24/7 readiness environments, supporting both project delivery and operational support models.
Type of Position:Full-time
Head Office (Islamabad) with frequent/occasional travel to project sites across Pakistan.
Candidate must be willing to travel nationwide as per business requirements.

Advanced HVAC Troubleshooting Certification

Electrical Safety & LOTO Training
Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in HVAC, Mechanical, or relevant discipline. Bachlors Degree is preferred.
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and installation, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead technician role.
Lead and support installation and replacement of HVAC components including indoor/outdoor units, coils, valves, dampers, and accessories
Execute and verify installation of ducting, copper piping, insulation, supports, vibration isolators, and accessories
Perform and supervise brazing, pipe bending, pressure testing, nitrogen purging, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging
Assist in equipment shifting, alignment, leveling, anchoring, and fixing
Support testing, balancing, and commissioning activities in accordance with drawings and OEM guidelines
Ensure HVAC installations meet data center cooling, redundancy, and airflow requirements
Independently diagnose and resolve complex HVAC faults in critical environments
Respond to breakdowns and emergencies within defined SLA timelines
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related HVAC issues
Ensure uptime, temperature, humidity, and airflow compliance
Coordinate escalations and emergency response actions
Execute and supervise preventive maintenance schedules
Conduct inspections and cleaning of filters, ducts, coils, drain trays, and airflow paths
Analyze recurring faults and performance degradation
Ensure spare parts readiness and maintenance effectiveness
Recommend corrective actions and system improvements
Assist with basic electrical connections for HVAC equipment including power and control wiring (as authorized)
Support installation and calibration of thermostats, controllers, sensors, and actuators
Follow Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO) and electrical safety practices strictly
Ensure compliance with site HSE policies and SOPs
Identify electrical or control risks and elevate proactively
