Job summary

10Pearls is seeking a Senior Data BI Developer to design and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data models. You will translate business needs into scalable BI solutions, integrate data from relational databases and cloud platforms, and collaborate with data engineers and analysts.

The role requires strong Tableau skills, SQL, ETL, and data warehousing experience; experience with Tableau Desktop/Server; and ability to work across teams to enable analytics workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5years of experience as a Tableau BI Developer or working with other BI tools.
• At least 1 year of experience in mobile application analysis.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing complex Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and manipulation.
• Experience integrating and working with relational databases, cloud platforms, and flat files.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and/or Tableau Server.
• Understanding of BI development, reporting, visualization, and analytics workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and BI reports to support business and analytical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and effective BI solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including relational databases, cloud platforms, and flat files.
• Perform ETL activities to extract, transform, and prepare data for reporting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouse structures, and reporting datasets.
• Design complex and scalable Tableau dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, and data accuracy.
• Analyze and optimize existing Tableau dashboards to improve performance and user experience.
• Support mobile application analysis and translate analytical requirements into meaningful BI insights.
• Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Support data governance and data-quality initiatives to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of reporting.
• Enable analytics workflows for AI and Agentic Analytics consumption.
• Identify opportunities to improve BI processes, reporting capabilities, and data visualization practices.
• Troubleshoot data, reporting, and dashboard-related issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to data engineering and BI best practices within the team.
• Participate in engineering initiatives including training, knowledge-sharing sessions, technical discussions, and estimates.
