Contour Software Pvt Ltd, part of Constellation Software Inc., is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions and reporting in GP. The role focuses on accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and monthly close activities in a global enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate holds professional accounting qualifications, strong Excel skills, and a high degree of accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of AP/AR principles.
• Proven ability to post and manage accounting figures.
• Data entry skills with numeracy.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
• Proficiency in English and in MS Excel.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professional Accounting qualification or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in GP.
• Post invoice batches and deferment in GP.
• Prepare AR aging, assist with allowance for doubtful accounts and customer statements.
• Process customer payments and credits in GP.
• Coordinate and reconcile monthly invoicing activity for accuracy.
• Prepare intercompany journals and recharges as required.
• Assist with AR related account reconciliations and month-end tasks.
• Support quarterly IFRS/compliance reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Generate and maintain reports using GP/SmartView.
