Job summary

Contour Software is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to maintain financial records, process accounts payable/receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments. The role requires familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP and an accounting degree, with responsibilities spanning daily postings, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will contribute to month-end close, intercompany postings, and regulatory compliance while upholding accuracy and timeliness in a growing

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience and solid understanding of AP/AR
• Proficient in English and MS Excel
• Ability to prepare financial reports and reconcile accounts
• Experience with GP and other accounting software is a plus
• Attention to detail and high accuracy required

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in GP
• Post invoices and manage AR/AP interactions
• Prepare AR aging and monthly statements for customers
• Process payments, credits, and apply to invoices in GP
• Prepare intercompany journals and reconcile ledgers
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and tax compliance
• Generate balance sheet reconciliations and revenue analyses
• Identify process improvements to accounting tasks
