Job summary

Contour Software is seeking an Assistant Accountant to maintain financial records, process AP/AR, and support monthly close in GP. The role requires a Finance degree and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP.

You will contribute to accurate reporting and tax compliance for the Karachi-based finance team. Ideal candidates will have ACCA/ICAP or equivalent progress, strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience required.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable.
• Ability to calculate, post and manage financial records accurately.
• Strong data entry skills and numerical aptitude.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and proprietary software.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and post in GP.
• Process invoices and reconcile monthly activity in GP.
• Review AR aging and manage customer credits and payments.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and journal entries for close.
• Assist with tax compliance and intercompany reconciliation.
