Job summary

Contour Software, Karachi, part of the Constellation Software family, seeks an Accountant to join its Finance team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate all aspects of accounting and conduct high-level analysis of revenue, credit, expenses and overhead.

You will handle AR/AP, multi-currency invoicing, reconciliations and monthly statements, collaborating with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar accounting role.
• Finalist/ Qualified Professional Accountant or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and payable, GL in accordance with policies.
• Invoice processing for clients in multiple currencies across countries.
• Reconcile supplier/program transactions and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Partnership team on discrepancies and allocate transactions.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation reports and correct errors with Partnership team.
• Quarterly reconciliations, year-end tax slips and EHT management.
• Develop and document process improvements for new procedures.
• Prepare sales tax returns and corporate reporting.
• Review monthly revenue and expenses for accruals.
• Maintain accounting software and reconciliation tools.
• Manage cash flow and forecast; monitor collections and working capital.
• Compile monthly financial statements and perform bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Director, Operations and senior management.
