E Technologies, a dynamic technology and media company, is hiring a talented SeniorQA Engineer – Manual & Automation to join our innovative team.
Role Summary
The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, consistency, and overall user experience of web and mobile applications across company products.
The role includes manual testing, automation testing, functional and regression testing, API testing, frontend consistency validation, and identifying defects across different browsers, devices, and platforms.
A key requirement for this role is exceptional attention to detail — what we describe as an “Eagle Eye” mindset. The successful candidate should be able to identify not only functional defects, but also very small frontend inconsistencies, UI/UX issues, visual differences, and behavioural problems that may easily be missed by others.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing across Web, iOS, and Android applications.
- Design, create, maintain, and execute automated test cases and automated testing suites.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, usability, and compatibility testing.
- Test APIs and validate frontend and backend integrations.
- Identify, document, reproduce, and track software defects with clear and detailed bug reports.
- Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive testing across different screen sizes and operating systems.
- Review implemented interfaces against UI/UX and Figma designs.
- Perform detailed frontend consistency testing across websites and mobile applications.
- Identify small visual inconsistencies including:
- Spacing
- Padding
- Margins
- Alignment
- Typography
- Colours
- Icons
- Borders
- Shadows
- Component styles
- Responsive behaviour
- Identify inconsistencies between similar components, screens, pages, and application states.
- Test animations, transitions, scrolling behaviour, user interactions, loading states, and error states.
- Identify edge cases, unusual user scenarios, and unexpected application behaviour.
- Actively investigate applications beyond predefined test cases and attempt to identify hidden or difficult-to-reproduce defects.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
- Work closely with developers, UI/UX designers, product teams, and project stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Support release testing and ensure applications meet required quality standards before deployment.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
