Job summary

IgniteTech is seeking a Senior Software Quality Analyst who will blend test automation with generative AI to raise quality across modern engineering teams.

You’ll build AI-enhanced testing, develop robust Selenium-based frameworks, and integrate testing deeply into CI/CD pipelines while turning results into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality assurance, including 3+ years hands-on with test automation.
• Selenium WebDriver proficiency — Page Object Model, synchronization strategies, multi-browser execution.
• Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for building and extending automation frameworks.
• GenAI experience with tools like OpenAI API, Claude Code, or Cursor to improve outcomes.
• CI/CD pipeline know-how — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• SQL fluency, log analysis, and visualization with Grafana or Tableau.
• Strong communication — distill complex findings into business-relevant narratives.
• Remote-first readiness — effective working asynchronously across time zones.

• Develop and evolve Selenium WebDriver automation frameworks in Python, Java, or JavaScript, keeping suites performant, maintainable, and browser-agnostic.
• Embed quality into the delivery pipeline by configuring and optimizing test stages in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps — so nothing ships unvalidated.
• Turn raw data into quality intelligence. Mine test results, production logs, and telemetry to spot trends, reduce defect escape rates, and build KPI dashboards (coverage, defect density, MTTD) that leadership actually uses.
• Collaborate upstream with product and engineering to shape acceptance criteria and testability before development kicks off — not after.
• Elevate the team through code reviews, mentorship of junior analysts, and evangelizing GenAI-assisted practices across the organization.
