• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Strong manual testing skills with automation experience (UI & API).
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation, querying, and analysis.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and TestNG.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and JMeter.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Nice to have familiarity with Azure.

About the Role:

We're looking for a QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our Quality Engineering team and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience across UI and API automation, strong manual and SQL database testing skills, performance testing capability, and a solid grasp of QA best practices — with a focus on applying AI in QA activities and driving continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Build and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts that thoroughly cover software functionality across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Carry out manual testing of web and API-based applications, with attention to complex scenarios and edge cases for complete coverage.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for UI and API using industry-standard tools, feeding into continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, business analysts) to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and keep testing aligned with business goals.
• Investigate and troubleshoot defects, issues, and discrepancies, then document and track them through to resolution using defect tracking systems.
• Write and maintain SQL queries for data validation, verification, and analysis.
• Offer technical guidance and support on QA processes, tools, and methodologies to project stakeholders.
• Keep pace with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies, folding relevant advancements into QA practices.

What You’ll Bring (Required Skills):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands‑on software testing experience.
• Strong expertise in manual testing, alongside automation testing (UI and API).
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation, querying, and analysis.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and TestNG.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and JMeter.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience supporting test strategy activities, particularly for integrated applications and systems.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance testing, including a good understanding of performance metrics.
• (Nice to have) Familiarity with Azure.
