Job summary

TouchPoint Pvt Limited is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance professional to ensure the quality and release readiness of self-service banking software. You will test ATM, cash deposit, and recycler applications, validate banking integrations, manage defects, and support controlled deployments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA/QC experience, with exposure to banking, payments, or FinTech preferred. Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and test automation is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software quality assurance and testing experience.
• Experience in banking applications, ATM software, or fintech is preferred.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
• Validate software releases, enhancements, patches, upgrades, and hotfixes against approved requirements.
• Test banking workflows and peripherals including ATM/CDM/CRM integrations and error handling scenarios.
• Verify integration with banking host systems, middleware, APIs, switches, and ATM peripherals.
• Perform security, performance, stability, and compatibility testing; identify and track defects.
• Review technical docs, maintain test evidence, and provide QA sign-off for releases.
• Support controlled deployments, rollback validation, and post-deployment verification per change control.

The role involves testing ATM, cash deposit, and recycler applications, validating banking system integrations, managing defects, and supporting controlled deployments. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of QA/QC experience, with exposure to banking, payments, or FinTech preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.


• Validate software releases, enhancements, patches, upgrades, and hotfixes against approved requirements.


• Test ATM/CDM/CRM and recycler workflows, including banking transactions, reversals, error handling, and exception scenarios.


• Verify integration with banking host systems, middleware, transaction switches, APIs, and ATM peripherals.


• Perform security, performance, stability, and compatibility testing.


• Identify, document, and track defects; verify fixes and ensure critical issues are resolved or formally assessed before release.


• Review technical documentation, maintain test evidence, and provide QA sign-off and release-readiness recommendations.


• Support controlled deployments, rollback validation, and post-deployment verification in line with change management procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.


• 5+ years of relevant software quality assurance and testing experience.


• Experience in banking applications, ATM software, payment systems, or FinTech is preferred.


• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and release management.


• Familiarity with test management tools, API testing, database queries, log analysis, and test automation is an advantage.


• Knowledge of banking transaction flows, host interfaces, and ATM peripherals is desirable.
