The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in software development, strong MySQL skills, and solid knowledge of APIs and software design principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript and Python; MySQL expertise.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex problems and propose efficient, scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Software support and maintenance, participate in an on-call rotation.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

• Provide thoughtful estimates of effort.

Job Summary

Looking for a Senior Software Developer with focus towards problem-solving and communication skills.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JS and Python
• Experience with Golang would be a plus
• Strong proficiency in MySQL
• Experience with web services, APIs, and database design
• Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Proven ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI development tools like Claude Code or Cursor
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems
• Exposure to microservices architecture and scalable system design
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments
