vFairs, a leading event management platform, seeks a Senior Software Architect to drive architectural vision and technical excellence across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and DevOps. You will guide cross-functional teams, craft scalable, secure, and high-performance systems, and shape the technology roadmap to align with business goals.

The role requires deep technical leadership, strong communication, and a track record of delivering multi-region, high-availability SaaS platforms.

Qualifikationen

• 13+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ in architecture and system design.
• Strong background in distributed systems and architectural patterns (microservices, CQRS, DDD, event-driven).
• Deep understanding of backend frameworks (Laravel, Node.js, .NET, Java) and frontend ecosystems (Vue.js, React, Angular).
• Proven experience designing real-time systems (chat, streaming, WebSockets, WebRTC).
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, CloudFront, RDS, Lambda) and infra design.
• Proficiency in API design, database architecture (SQL & NoSQL), and caching (Redis, Memcached).
• Knowledge of Nginx, load balancing, and reverse proxy configurations.

Aufgaben

• Define, design, and communicate end-to-end architectures for complex software systems.
• Translate business goals into modular, scalable architectures and maintain architectural standards.
• Define and maintain architectural principles and patterns across projects.
• Perform architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technology evaluations.
• Partner with engineering leads and executives to define long-term technical strategy and roadmap.
• Assess emerging technologies and introduce them where valuable.
• Design distributed, event-driven microservices-based architectures for high-traffic apps.
• Establish API standards, data flow models, and communication protocols.
• Guide teams to build resilient, observable, and secure systems.
• Design infrastructure blueprints including load balancing, caching, queues, and data pipelines.
• Mentor engineers, review designs and code, lead design reviews and POCs.
• Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Enforce secure-by-design principles and oversee data privacy and access control.
