Job summary

Careem Networks FZ LLC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer II to own cloud security across AWS, manage CSPM/KSPM controls, and drive vulnerability remediation. You will lead DDoS resilience, Edge security with Cloudflare, and security reviews for agentic AI systems, collaborating with SRE and QA teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on security engineering in a cloud-native environment.
• Deep AWS security expertise (IAM, GuardDuty, EBS encryption, EC2/Beanstalk hardening).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes security and CSPM/KSPM controls.
• Experience with Cloudflare security, DDoS resilience, and bot management.
• Familiarity with agentic AI security and MCP servers; OSSO/JWT/OAuth tooling is a plus.
• Proven track record in vulnerability management, patching pipelines, and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive cloud security posture across AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead infrastructure hardening, patching, and fleet‑wide vulnerability remediation.
• Oversee Kubernetes security posture and incident response at infra scale.
• Develop security guidelines for agentic AI deployments and automations.
