Job summary

NorthBay Solutions LLC, an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, is seeking a Senior Security Engineer (L2/L3) to support a 24x7 Security Operations environment in Islamabad, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have 4–10 years of experience in IT Security Operations and strong hands-on skills with firewalls and endpoint protection technologies.

This position offers exposure to leading security technologies, a long-term project, and the opportunity to work with highly skilled security teams.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of experience in IT Security Operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Implement and review firewall policies, ACLs, NAT, and security rules.
• Administer WAF, IPS, VPN, MFA, and proxy security solutions.
• Support endpoint security platforms including EDR, DLP, and antivirus solutions.
• Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Review security logs, alerts, and operational events.
• Support audit, compliance, and security governance requirements.
• Execute security hardening and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities and readiness exercises.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with enterprise security technologies including firewalls, web security, endpoint protection, VPNs, and security operations processes.

Experience

• 4–10 years of experience in IT Security Operations
• Experience supporting enterprise environments
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities
