Job summary

10Pearls is seeking a Senior Test Consultant - SDET (Shell/Bash) to build and execute automated testing solutions across component, API, E2E, and backend testing. Candidates should have hands-on experience in Python, PERL, Robot Framework, Selenium, CI/CD, Linux, and databases.

The role involves leading test strategy, mentoring juniors, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle with AI-assisted processes.

Qualifications

• Python is required for Component Testing.
• OpenAPI Specification / Swagger is required.
• REST API Testing including Mock API Server, Contracts & API Testing, API Security, and Performance Testing.
• Robot Framework, including Robot Language, Test Execution, and Reporting.
• PERL is required for Heimdall TAF.
• Shell is required for Heimdall TAF and Standalone Scripts.
• Selenium, preferably using PERL modules, for UI Automation.
• Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for TA Code Check-ins.
• GitHub Actions for CI Pipeline.
• Jenkins / CD.
• SQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis for Backend Verification.
• Linux, including Backend TA, SSH & CLI Automation, Processes, System Resource Consumption, and Service Control.
• Networking & Security, including Firewall, Interfaces & Configurations, TCP/IP Stack, TLS, and Malware.
• Containers, including CRUN, Containerd, and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and coordinate business and QA aspects of software development activities, utilizing AI tools for enhanced requirement analysis and QA of applications.
• Lead test strategy development, ensuring it aligns with the client's business objectives and incorporates AI.
• Research new tools and technologies including AI-based tools, and evaluate their usefulness for the team/company.
• Provide mentoring and on-the-job training for junior team members, emphasizing AI tool usage and best practices through learning activities and knowledge-sharing sessions, guiding them in both technical and client-facing skills.
• Develop, publish, and implement comprehensive AI-enhanced Test Plans, using AI-driven insights for optimal coverage.
• Inform the supervisor about what resources will be required for software testing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, leveraging AI for continuous feedback and improvement.
• Identify risks early and recommend mitigation strategies, keeping client expectations in mind.
• Develop and execute AI-enhanced automated test scripts for better accuracy and scalability.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, incorporating AI.
• Participate in the client meeting.
• Participate in AI-assisted Manual/Automation QA Reviews for increased efficiency.
• Participate in QA activities (e.g., Training, Snack Chat, Interview etc.).
