Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Pakistan seeks a Lead Software Engineer to guide a high-performing team within consumer and community banking technology. You will design, develop, and secure scalable software, mentor engineers, and drive the adoption of AI-assisted development across the SDLC to deliver trusted market-leading products.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams, champion responsible AI use, improve performance, and ensure end-to-end understanding of system interactions.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools and setting team expectations for AI outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling, resiliency and security.
• Proficient in all SDLC phases and agile practices.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development across Sales/Service Cloud and FSC with REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with secure coding standards.
• Utilize SDLC tools to enhance automation and value.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions; break down complex problems.
• Build secure production-grade code; review and improve others' code.
• Identify recurring issues and implement automation for stability.
• Participate in vendor/evaluation sessions for architecture alignment.
• Contribute to communities of practice to promote emerging technologies.
• Foster a team culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
