New Vision Engineering Consultant seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil) with a minimum of ten years of expertise in managing cost estimation and control for building and infrastructure projects. This role demands a detail-oriented professional proficient in interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to provide accurate quantity takeoffs, cost planning, and budgeting. The successful candidate applies thorough knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and measurement standards to optimize project expenditure and ensure financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
The Quantity Surveyor focuses on preparation and verification of Bills of Quantities, interim valuations, payment certifications, and variation orders. The role also involves strong coordination and documentation skills to liaise with contractors and stakeholders effectively. Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD is essential to execute site measurements, cost analysis, and tender evaluation.
