Job summary

Esire is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Controller to maintain high-quality standards for fabric garments, wool coats, suits, blazers, and other tailored apparel.

The role requires strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching, measurements, fitting, and finishing, with the ability to identify, control, and prevent quality issues. You will inspect finished garments, coordinate with production teams, and prepare detailed inspection reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in garment manufacturing and quality control.
• Strong knowledge of fabric quality, wool garments, suits, blazers, and coats.
• Good understanding of garment construction, stitching techniques, measurements, fitting, and finishing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished garments (wool coats, suits, blazers, trousers) against standards.
• Ensure garments meet approved quality standards, measurements, and specifications.
• Check fabric quality, stitching, fitting, lining, finishing, buttons, zippers, and overall appearance.
• Identify fabric defects, stitching faults, fitting issues, and construction problems.
• Coordinate with production teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct final inspections and approve garments before dispatch.
• Help reduce customer complaints, returns, alterations, and rejections.
• Maintain quality inspection records and prepare inspection reports.
• Recommend improvements to prevent recurring quality issues.

• Ensure garments meet approved quality standards, measurements, and specifications.
• Check fabric quality, stitching, fitting, lining, interlining, finishing, buttons, zippers, and overall garment appearance.
• Identify fabric defects, stitching faults, fitting issues, and construction problems.
• Coordinate with production teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct final inspections and approve garments before dispatch.
• Help reduce customer complaints, returns, alterations, and product rejections.
• Maintain quality inspection records and prepare inspection reports.
• Recommend improvements to prevent recurring quality issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in garment manufacturing and quality control, preferably in formalwear, tailored garments, or wool outerwear.
• Strong knowledge of fabric quality, wool garments, suits, blazers, and coats.
• Good understanding of garment construction, stitching techniques, measurements, fitting, and finishing.
• Ability to identify fabric defects, workmanship issues, and fitting problems.
• Practical stitching or tailoring experience will be an added advantage.
